# GOVT. SHUTDOWN - INSANTY'S FEAST

Whether you acknowledge it or not we have front row seats
to what extreme measures , crafty-savy deviousness
those who crave power will design to grab ultimate control of all the purse strings. We are witnessing end game stratagems by the Tea Party and billionaire
conservative tycoons who feel threaten by the culture change due to the election
of an African-Anerican Man as President.

Mischief is well trained.

SHATTERING STONES

Politics

Has become a disease
Unquarantined ~ Corporatized ~ Fund Riaser-ized
Boiling with the narcissistic high-minded and the gamesmanship of misdirection
And venomous egos like Ted Cruz, Rush Limbaugh, Sarah Plain and Michelle Bachman
Sermonizing their self-righteous, self-promoting holiness as the torch bearers
of America’s Founding Fathers.

~ Harmony’s Dreams being suffocated by these weeds ~

And Our Children shall always unknowingly play together, smile and laugh
While Mommy and Daddy search through secret corners of homes for hidden coins
Lost Jobs shed no tears; recite no prayers in our struggle
And still the faithful arise each day ~ Their muscles and bones still weary
Yet their vigilance is renewed and rejuvenated by their ordinary commitments
They do not haggle ~ They dismiss most hassles
So they can step forward each day as light embers
~ For a Child ~ For a Sick Family Member
~ For a Distressed Friend
~ For a Customer ~ For a Stranger

The Politics of Today is No New History
Love and Kindness versus Greed’s deception and self-ambition
~ Veritas ~ Summa Bona
Our Highest Good is the Fairness and Prosperity of All
The Healthy, The Struggling and The ILL
Designed with proactive legislative and corporate measures
Which consecrate our hopes of economic, racial and cultural fairness and justice
~ A Corinthian Love ~ Transforming Fortressed Minds and Hearts of Bigotry and Greed ~
This is the social revolution screaming at the Republican Congress
The Cultural mindset of America changing from the obsession of possessing stuff
To a New Frontier for our electric power grid, railways and roads and textile industries rebirth
~ New Fish to populate the pond of employment
Sadly the monster of technology and corporate luxuries has grown to large, to sophisticated to avoid
Seeds sprouting weeds, Weeds disguised as flowers, and flowers finding ways
 to be hybrids of themselves
~ Loop-Holes ~ Tearing apart the fabric of our society’s basic thread of honesty ~
~ The Multitude of Ways to legally be corrupt ~
I am not surprised by those who made this Frankenstein of profit making
And it is ironic that the god to many people praise is the phrase on the back of our currency
The Mansion of Democracy and Our Earth shows signs of crumbling
While political and corporate aristocrats world wide --- dance in palaces of denial…
And the after meal belching of dollar signs…
Peoples Tears should not be a crime…

# 50th ANNIVERSARY MARCH ON WASHINGTON

As a native Washingtonian I cannot clearly remember if at the age of seven
whether my mom took me to the 1963 March. However in honor of my Mom,
My Grandparents and my Uncle George and the great importance of todays
political climate it was more than essential that I be in attendance for this March.
I can clearly remember one of the very few times of seeing my Mom openly cry
was the evening of Martin Luther King Jr’s assignation in 1968.
((( Go See Lee Daniels’ THE BUTLER – Get A Reminder of Why )))

It is disheartening to me that I heard from people for not wanting to attend was
their non-support of Rev. Al Sharpton and even more disheartening is peoples
unawareness or non-concern of political measures being enacted at the state level
to block any federal legislation passed or purposed by President Obama. It is clearly
evident in Republican controlled southern states including Ohio and Pennsylvania.

All of that aside with a great honor burning in my heart I arrived at 20th and Constitution Ave.

The first item of significance was a group of Navy men in yellow t-shirts marching, the many

Unions and NAACP groups from other states moving to the entrance. Tears flooded my heart
witnessing and participating the honor of a peaceful assembly of concerned citizens in homage
of all those who made it possible 50 years ago. In the early morning the most challenging thing
was the horde of mosquitoes from the Tidal basin feeding on us and no one was complaining.
As the morning move on with the two minute speeches and some of them arousing the whole
crowd. There where two people I surly thought would have more then two minutes were:
Michael Eric Dyson and Rev. Jesse Jackson. There was no exception as speakers were cutoff
with music when they went over you know my brothers definitely went over. So I wondered
why Rev. Jackson did not have more then two minutes being that he was with King on the
fatal day of his assassination. Never the mind my greater joys were seeing the youth organized
and chanting their concerns. The parents I spoke with who brought their children of all ages
as participates for their later years remembrance. My conversations of politics and sports with
other men since I was wearing my Jim Brown jersey. It was a full day of interaction for me.
Martin Luther King 3rd speech was not the level of his father however it was inspiring. Now,
Rev. Sharpton gave a no holds, gloves off speech that inspired us all. I dare say he may have
emerged as our Civil Rights Leader for today’s issues.

My Prayer is that he and Rev. King 3rd are continually fortified and supported for future
actions to grow this movement.

Voters Rights are the center peace of this movement because our rights to vote unencumbered
by new legislation or instead of new legislation is of vital importance. If we do not participate
On matters of womens rights to choose concerning abortion when she is raped or molested by
a family member or stand your ground law abuses or gun control. We will have dishonored
the men and women of the 1960’s Civil Rights Movement who shed blood and died for our rights
today.

# POLITICS AND CORPORATE POWER

I encourage you to seek and make an opportunity
to view (3) documentaries.
First - ( GASLAND PART 2 - BY JOSH FOX )
---- Presented this week on HBO ---
It is a very revealing documentary on corporpate power's influence
on today's politics regarding the Hydraulic Fracturing process ( Fracking )
to extract natural gas from the Earth. This is an abuse that has/is impacting
not only American's lives but is also effecting household globally.

Second - ( HOME - NARRATED BY GLENN CLOSE )
You my have to buy a copy from Amazon if it is not available on Net Flix
--- I need to get me another copy --
This documentary is the Most Spectacular Aero footage of the landscape
of world with mind opening facts about our denial as custodians
of this precious planet.

Third - ( THE MEN WHO BUILT AMERICA )
--- Presented on the HISTORY CHANNEL )
I was amazed at the contrast of sameness of the power tactics
John D. Rockefeller, Cornelius Vanderbilt, Andrew Carnegie, Henry Ford and J.P. Morgan rose from obscurity and in the process built modern America. Their names hang on street signs, are etched into buildings and are a part of the fabric of history. These men created the American Dream and were the engine of capitalism as they transformed everything they touched in building the oil, rail, steel, shipping, automobile and finance industries. Their paths crossed repeatedly as they elected presidents, set economic policies and influenced major events of the 50 most formative years this country has ever known. From the Civil War to the Great Depression and World War I, they led the way.( source: Histoty Channel )---- Thus I AM REINSPIRED TO REPOST MY POEM ~ SAY ~

#POLITICS AND THE GREAT WHY ( Part One )

Here we go again, start up your engines – get ready - go - around and around the track once again on our political issues.
It has been a blatant building of a staircase of bitterness
starting with Senator Mitch McConnell’s “ We must make this
a one term President ’’ to a Republican Congress rejecting any 2nd term
proposed agenda of progress from President Obama. Former Republican
Presidential candidate Herman Cain; now a Fox News commentator said
; Americans were duped by President Obama and that Americans have a serious ignorance problem. Wow! Double Wow!
Now the Surpreme Court has opened the door for Republican governed states to set in place voter rights hurdles to thus enable the Republican Party an absolute potential to win the White House in the 2016 Presidential election.

Is anyone still blind? Is anyone still not concerned?

Silence is Golden only to the well-off benefactors in a Democracy.
Today being a Government Official whether it is State or Federal for many
people is the secure career path of perks and a self glorified righteous delusion
of serving the people. However this is no new phenomenon to the American
landscape : political mud slinging and covert corporate power manipulation.
Like any hound protecting its meat wouldn’t you bite. We, the American
People have grown extremely tired of the shamelessness and outright deceptions a though a populace of intelligent and perceptive people does not exist.
The flowers of our society have not benefited from the rain of a struggling economy,Due in part to deregulation and corporate greed, much less the repeated tragedies f natural disasters upon communities.

Sidebar: A small local example – a million dollars spent by the Arlington, Virginia
Government on building a single hi-tech bus stop shelter.

Million Dollar Bus Stop: Northern Virginia Super-Stop Has Heated Concrete Floors,
Does Not Protect From Elements : ( Huffington Post )

More than $1 million dollars was spent on this Arlington County bus stop, which has sparked public outcry over the price tag. (Jason Spencer/Patch)

The question with the obvious answers: Who took home the bulk of those contract funds.

These examples go on and on and sadly integrity is replaced with lavish abuse.

There are enough government scandals, corporate abuse and Republican/Tea Party;
Their Tug-of-war encumbering leaves you choking with disgust.
Where is Integrity? Where are our concerned geniuses?
Those who are backed with money and technology and political support needed
to move America into an assured future of new thriving.
